Principals' Advisory Council for Elementary (PACE)

PACE shall have as its general purpose to assist the Office of Catholic Schools in the operation of Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Hartford. It shall achieve its purpose by:

• Receiving suggestions and/or concerns on school-related issues from the principals and presenting these to the Office of Catholic Schools’ staff at regular meetings;
• Receiving suggestions and/or concerns on school-related issues from the principals and presenting these to the Office of Catholic Schools’ staff at regular meetings;
• Acting as a channel of communication to and from the principals when requested by the Office of Catholic Schools;
• Coordinating district principal meetings on a quarterly basis;
• Hearing the concerns and needs of the Superintendent and the principals.
  

Membership:

Membership shall be comprised of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and the Principal Representatives.

Each Principal member must have a minimum of four years experience as an administrator in the Archdiocese. The term of membership is two years, renewable one time, totaling four years.

The members shall be elected by the Principals of each district during the district meeting held in the spring, and take office the following school year.

The Superintendent shall appoint three members at large for a term of two years, renewable one time, totaling four years.

Meetings: 

PACE meetings shall be held four times during the school year and as called by the Superintendent.
